Dr. Georgios

Prostate cancer changes a lot.
It does not get to decide who you become.

A diagnosis can make life revolve around PSA results, scans, treatments and uncertainty.

I help you build a clear strategy around what you can still influence: your strength, nutrition, fitness, recovery, confidence and daily life.

You are never left to figure this out alone.

Tell me your situation. I personally review each application.

You can have an excellent medical team and still wonder: what do I do with the rest of my life?

Your oncologist or urologist treats the cancer. But between appointments, you are still living in your body every day.

You may be wondering:

  • What should I eat to make my internal environment less supportive of prostate cancer growth?

  • How should I train to protect muscle and bone during hormone therapy (ADT)?

  • Can lifestyle help improve my PSA?

  • What can I do about inflammation, fatigue, weight gain, digestion, or continence?

That is where our work begins. We separate what you cannot control from what you can act on, then turn that into a precise plan you can start this week.

After working with you I’m better physically, emotionally, and spiritually than I was before I met you. I wasn’t sure what the hell to do, and you have turned my life around from this sort of “not sure what to do” survival mode to where I feel like I’m thriving. I had low blood markers on 7-8 things and every single one is improved. I’m fitter, I have a purpose when I wake up, my diet is healthier, I haven’t been sick a day since we met, I feel a whole lot better, I feel more whole.

John, 73

We start by understanding the whole situation.

In our first session, we review your diagnosis and treatment, prostate-specific antigen trend and blood results, symptoms and side effects, physical capacity, bone health, body composition, nutrition, supplements, sleep, routines and the parts of life you most want to protect or improve.

Then we establish the priorities.

You leave knowing what matters now, what you can act on and what to do first.

From there, I stay alongside you as you implement the plan, measure your response and adapt when treatment, symptoms or life change.

Lifestyle is not an extra.
We use it as medicine.

The mission is broader than exercise or food.

Together, we work to create a body and internal environment that better support your health through prostate cancer.

That can include prostate cancer-focused nutrition, individualized exercise medicine, metabolic health, inflammation, muscle and bone protection, cardiovascular fitness, body composition, sleep, digestion, continence, fatigue, treatment tolerance and physical function.

We track what happens, learn from your response and adjust.

I know the research, but that's only part of my job.

I have a Master’s and a doctorate in exercise physiology, 3 post-docs, and I have spent years translating cancer research into the real lives of men with prostate cancer.

A.I. can tell you what to eat. A diet and exercise program can make you fitter and stronger.

That’s useful, but that’s not the point.

Cancer can get into your confidence, your body, your sex life, your masculinity, your relationships, and the way you see your future.

That’s where my coaching goes further.

We still use the research. Of course we do. But we also talk about what is actually going on with you. Where you’re stuck. What you’re afraid of. What keeps getting in your way. What you want your life to look like now.

We use the science. But I work with the man living through it.

In my opinion, you couldn’t find a more knowledgeable, dedicated, kinder, more generous mentor to help you through what is, let’s face it, a difficult time. I am continuing to enjoy a very full life physically, mentally and socially. No words, absolutely none, can express the gratitude I feel for the help I have received from Georgios.

Lifestyle, Recovery and Behavior Coaching

Cancer gets into the rest of your life too. It can challenge your body image, sexuality, masculinity, confidence, independence and sense of the future.

It can bring shame, fear and self-doubt to the surface. It can reinforce self-limiting beliefs or patterns that keep you stuck, withdrawn or disconnected from the life you still want to live.

Those parts of the experience belong in the work too.

We work on how you see yourself, how you respond to change, the patterns that hold you back and the confidence to keep moving toward the person and life you want.

You do not have to figure everything out alone

You work directly with me. We have one private, one-hour call every week, with direct messaging between sessions.

When treatment changes, symptoms appear or something stops working, we adjust.

When you are uncertain, you have someone who already understands your diagnosis, history, plan and priorities.

When you make progress, we build on it.

You are never handed to a generic trainer or left alone with a static program.

My role is not to take control of your health away from you. My role is to help you exercise more of it.

Georgios listened carefully to better understand my health and health care concerns. His recommendations were very comprehensive and on target. He certainly collaborated with me which I appreciated as a physician.

Hank, 67

Thanks to Georgios, I feel markedly more confident and empowered in my ability not just to tolerate my upcoming treatments but actually to thrive. I definitely plan to maintain an ongoing dialogue going forward, and feel very fortunate to have him in my corner.

Michael, 59

Your services, your support, your wisdom, your guidance, it brought me out of that prison. It changed it more so than anything. It changed my way of thinking. It helped me to transform my thoughts to thoughts of life, thoughts of possibilities, to imagine myself healthy, to imagine myself whole. Regardless of whatever decision I made, you had a solution for it.

No. This is health coaching and education designed to work alongside your oncology care. Your oncologist or urologist remains responsible for medical diagnosis and treatment. I focus on exercise, nutrition, recovery, treatment side effects, and behavior.

Private coaching is delivered online through video calls, direct messaging, and the coaching app. I work with men across the United States and internationally.

Tell me about your diagnosis, treatment, goals, and current difficulties through the application form. I personally review it. If I believe I can help, we will schedule a private conversation and I will explain where I would start.

You are more than what your next PSA result, scan, or treatment says.

Cancer may now be part of your life. But it does not have to occupy all of it.

There are still things you can build, protect, improve and decide.

Your body. Your strength. Your health. Your routines. Your confidence. Your relationships

And the person you intend to be while you move through it.

You do not have to figure all of that out alone.

Take an active role in what comes next.
